West Yellowstone offers some of the best cycling in the area. Mountain bike trails will take you to many destinations, including the famous Rendezvous Trail systems. There are also many routes in Yellowstone Park. More information is available on the NPS Park's web site.Also check out the Upper and Lower River loops on the outside of West Yellowstone. During the Spring and Fall, Yellowstone Park is open to all non-motorized travel for a brief period of time as roads are prepared for the upcoming season.
There is no entrance fee during these times and it is a great way to enjoy the Park without the worry of cars. Do be mindful of the bison who may be sharing the road with you though! Bicycles are available to rent or feel free to bring your own.
