Travel Guard® : Low Cost Travel Insurance

Delaware North Companies Parks & Resorts, Inc. is proud to offer overnight guests staying at the Holilday Inn^® West Yellowstone Hotel an opportunity to protect their travel investment by purchasing a low cost, comprehensive travel insurance plan from Travel Guard^®.  With coverage from Travel Guard^®, you can cover trip cancellations, travel delay, baggage delay, medical conditions, and more. Travel Guard^® insurance covers you from before you leave home until the time you get back - so you can spend your time enjoying Yellowstone.

Trip Cancellation & Interruption coverage protects your trip investment if you must cancel or interrupt your trip for many reasons, such as:

• Unforseen sickness, injury, or death to you, your traveling companion(s), or a family member
• Weather conditions causing delay or cancellation of tavel
• Your home being made uninhabitable by fire, flood, vandalism, burglary, or natural disaster
• Being subpoenaed, requested to serve on jury duty
• Being involved in or delayed by a traffic accident en route to your departure
• Travel delay reimbursement for additional expenses incurred when you are delayed (i.e. hotel, rental car, flight change fees)
• Carrier delay such as mechanical difficulties
• Lost passport, money, or travel documents
• Weather
• Injury or sickness of insured or traveling companion
• Baggage delay reimbursement for purchasing essential items (such as toiletries) when bags are delayed more than 24 hours.
• Medical expense coverage for emergency medical expenses incurred while traveling, which includes emergency dental treatment
• Emergency medical transportation coverage for evacuation and transportation to the nearest adequate medical facility when required by an attending physician; also includes cost for a medical escort.

Travel Guard Assistance (this is a service benefit):

• Advances funds to cover on-site medical expenses
• Telephone interpretation services in major languages
• Replacement of lost passport and other incidentals as may be required
• Assistance in locating local physicians, dentists, or medical facilities
• Professionals will monitor the Insured's condition and contact their personal physician
• Evacuation to a hospital, treatment facility, or back home
