Explorer Cabins & Amenities

The cabins are arranged into five distinct Camps named after early pioneers and explorers of Yellowstone National Park. The Camp names are Washburn, Colter, Bridger, Russell and Langford. The property has a couple outdoor of gas-lit fire pits to enjoy in the evenings. This is the perfect spot to end your day after enjoying the wonders of Yellowstone National Park.

There are three distinct cabin designs - Montana, Old Faithful and Yellowstone. Please select the cabin that best suits your vacation desires.

Montana Cabin

A Montana Cabin consists of one large room with two queen size beds and a kitchenette complete with cookware, dishware and utensils. This is a cozy cabin with a sitting area on your front porch. Connecting cabins are possible with this cabin type.

There are two hot tubs on property for relaxing after a fine day of exploration. One hot tub is in the Washburn Camp and the other is in the Coulter Camp. Towels are provided at each hot tub.
Guests may use the pool, hot tub, fitness center and laundry facilities at our sister hotel, the Yellowstone Park Hotel
There are two pet-friendly Montana Cabins in the Washburn Camp

The Montana Cabins (there are 10) have the ability to connect via an interior doorway between two adjoining cabins. The ten Montana Cabins offer five possible cabin connections. A Montana Cabin must be reserved to have an interior connection. Please let us know as early as possible if you are requesting connecting cabins. We will do our best to accommodate this request.

Old Faithful Cabin

An Old Faithful Cabin contains one king size bed in a private bedroom, a living room area, fireplace and kitchenette with cookware, dishware and utensils. This is a nice sized cabin with a sitting area on your front porch. Two of the Old Faithful Cabins are ADA accessible.

There are two pet-friendly Old Faithful Cabins in the Washburn Camp and one is ADA accessible

Two of the Old Faithful Cabins are ADA accessible. There is dedicated ADA parking close to the cabins with an access ramp on the front porch. The bathroom will have a raised toilet, grab bars and a shower seat. If you are in need these features, please proceed with booking an ADA accessible Old Faithful Cabin.

Yellowstone Cabin

A Yellowstone Cabin features two private bedrooms that are perfect for a family or small group traveling together. This cabin type offers a living room area, fireplace and kitchenette with cookware, dishware and utensils. This is a nice sized cabin with a sitting area on your front porch. We encourage you to reserve this cabin in lieu of two separate hotel rooms.

Sleeps 2-6 people
One King bed in the master bedroom, one Queen bed and/or one Twin Bunk Bed set in the second bedroom, plus a sleeper-sofa in the living room. There are 20 cabins with one Queen bed and 10 cabins with one Twin Bunk Bed set

Parking and Check-In

Parking is located close to your cabin. Porterage is available to assist with your luggage. All cabins are non-smoking. There are a few dog-friendly cabins available upon request. Please read our Pet Policy.
