These self-catering cabins are located just minutes away from the west entrance to Yellowstone National Park and a short drive from the Old Faithful Geyser. The cabins are clustered in five distinct natural camp settings to encourage a sense of community for families or friends traveling together. The five camps are named after early pioneers and explorers of Yellowstone National Park, namely Washburn, Colter, Bridger, Russell and Langford. The Washburn Camp includes six dog-friendly cabins.
Explorer Cabins at Yellowstone offer amenities that are highly functional. Flat screen TV's are mounted in the living room and complimentary WiFi is available throughout the property. Attractive artwork of Yellowstone National Park or West Yellowstone is displayed in every cabin. Supplies for cooking S’mores on the outdoor fire-pit are included with each arrival.

- From 4/18/14 to late October 2014, check-in is located inside the Yellowstone Park Hotel located at 201 Grizzly Avenue.
- During the off-season (October to April), check-in is located inside the Gray Wolf Inn and Suites located at 250 South Canyon Street.
